Unfortunately it seems like nagae has lost his touch. for the past couple of years his movies although they have a very good and capable female cast ,some of the male either leads or co-stars are strongly lacking though , are mostly nonsensical adaptations of "standard" scenarios. is it that he's becoming bored with his work after all these years? is it the lack of budget and the whole movie needs to be over in a day and it's rushed? don't know , but i know it's not the same nagae anymore. very good performance from yumika and the male co-lead , some good scenes but that's it. the male lead acting and character is bad. the story in this one is silly and feels rushed since there is just the hint of the story. same scenario has been filmed before with some amazing results. not this one though.
